“For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
{2 Cor 5:1 NKJV}
PRAYER REQUESTS:
We’re using the same photograph as last month in this PrayerMail as we mourn the loss of one of our foster mothers (Tshidi, or “Lydia”, pictured here in the blue track suit at the end of the front row) who passed away in her sleep Monday night. As difficult as it has been we are celebrating that she knew Jesus and is now with Him! Please pray for the peace and comfort that surpasses all understanding for the friends and family she leaves behind, especially the three foster children, biological child and niece she was so lovingly caring for.
For Christ to raise up new foster parents to care for the children orphaned again by Tshidi’s passing, enabling them to continue to stay in their house on the property.
For the health of the children, youth and adults we minister to as fall and winter approach and many are battling long instances of sickness, and for the continued good health of those that have so far managed to avoid becoming ill.
For Christ to raise up a couple of family to serve with us in the field for three months or longer starting in November of this year.
For Christ to stir the hearts of additional local and international short-term mission teams and short-, medium, and long-term volunteers to assist us in the field.
PRAISES:
Praise God, South African funding for the equipment and supplies to enable our “Foundations of Farming” Bible study women to begin preparing their individual “door gardens” is starting to come in and we hope to be able to have the women working in the gardens soon!

Any day now our friends at Cargo of Dreams should be ordering the 12 meter cargo container to be built out in the United States and shipped to South Africa to become an integral part of our 2,000 sg. ft teaching, training and resource center. When it arrives it will be combined with our two existing 6 meter containers already in on-site to form the load-bearing walls of the center!
