We’re two weeks into the new school year at Naledi Christian Academy, and the Lord has blessed and trusted us with 75 (up from 31 last year) children aged two to six years old and seven additional staff members in addition to the five we ended last year with! Things really could not be going any better than they are… thank you all for your prayers and support!

We and Taylor are trying to raise support for the children in the school and her service with us. The increase in enrollment  leaves about 40 children in need of sponsors to assist with the cost of their schooling  If you would like to sponsor a child in the school you can do so by clicking on the “DONATE NOW” button on this page and registering for a recurring monthly donation of $25 (or a one time donation of $300) designated to “Sponsor a child or family”. Each sponsorship helps to cover the cost of one child’s attendance at the school, including eight hours of care and teaching (8am- 4pm) five days a week, two nutritious meals and a snack each day, supplies, materials, electricity, water and staff salaries. You will be sent a photograph of your sponsored child with personal information about the child and their family (birthdays, prayer requests) and receive periodic updates about them. We encourage you to correspond with your child and their family via email or postal mail… a few sponsors have even traveled to South Africa with a short-term mission team and met their sponsored child! If you would like to serve Christ and TentMaker Ministries as a “sender” by supporting Taylor financially with her return you can do so by designating your one-time or recurring gift to “Support one of our Missionaries – Taylor Van Duinen”.
